This program is ideal for students majoring or minoring in Spanish, who want to explore one of Latin America's jewels: Costa Rica.  Students enroll in two of the four Spanish courses offered and complete six credit hours over the six-week program. Classes meet at the modern and vibrant campus of Veritas University; a fully accredited private university just ten minutes away from downtown San José, where students are welcome to participate in all extracurricular activities.

Students on the program have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live with a Costa Rican family. They will share breakfast and dinner with the families and will have weekly access to laundry.  Each family has been fully vetted and recommended by the study-abroad staff at Veritas University.  In addition to the time spent in San José, the group will participate in excursions to the Pacific coast, one of Costa Rica's magnificent volcanoes, and other beautiful locations.
